My fave 2 are back!!!! here is one of lucie's bad desire update chapters - there are more to come slowly
“Do you think he’s going to like it?” Jess turned to Jack as
they both hovered in the doorway of Kian’s new bedroom.
It had been a long drawn out process over the past year however;
Estee had managed to win over the case against Jazmine. As a result, Kian was
finally moving in with Jess and Jack for good and although it was a huge
change, it was a positive one.
Jess had spent the past few weeks working on his new bedroom
and wanted to make it perfect. Considering he was 15 years old now, she knew he
would want something a little more grown up and minimalist therefore, with careful planning, she
had managed to put together something she hoped he would love.
“He’s going to think it’s fucking sick.” Jack remarked while
Jess looked back at him with raised eyebrows for his choice of words.
“I mean, he will absolutely love it baby.” He teased as he
wrapped his arms around her.
Jack appreciated the work Jess had put in and was more than
certain Kian was going to appreciate it too. He had never had this kind of effort
put in by Jazmine before so he would be in a state of shock when he realised Jess
had spent so long working on it for him.
He absolutely adored her and those feelings were replicated
back. Although things had started off rough due to the situation, it was no
longer thought about anymore. Jess had signed the adoption papers and this little
boy was now fully under her care and protected from the woman who had treated
him with such little love his whole life.
“Wow! This is so cool!” The voice of Ellie was heard, loud
and clear as she charged straight past her parents and into the bedroom. “Mum,
this is amazing!”
The 13 year old still had her bubbly personality and
striking confidence and although she had been unsure of Kian at first, she was
fully used to the idea now. She had grown up and also grown used to accepting
Kian as her brother, just like she did her other siblings.
“Thank you babe.” Jess smiled at her daughter who made her
way over to join the hug.
However, she didn’t remain in the embrace for long as very
quickly she was pulling away and looking down to her phone.
“Can I please go and meet Emma and James? We’re all going to
hang out.”
“Of course, just be back before 6. We have friends coming
over tonight.” Jess nodded her head with a smile while she instantly knew a
particular reaction would be coming from Jack.
“Sure, you can go and hang out.” He replied with emphasis on
the ‘hang out’ part. “Play on your phones, don’t talk to each other and all that.”
“Dad.” Ellie stressed as he continued to find himself
hilarious, only causing Jess to be physically unable to hide her smile too. “We
don’t play on our phones.”
The 13 year old had now reached that age where everything
she did revolved around her friends and fitting in. Although it could be one of
the most pointless periods when you looked back at it as an adult, at the time
it felt like the only thing that mattered.
She was a teenager and trying to not only figure herself out
but how she fit in within the world around her and that was never easy. Kids
could be judgemental and nothing was ever going to change that as they all just
felt as insecure as each other. Therefore, Jess and Jack just hoped that she
would hold onto the confidence she always held and wouldn’t let anyone tell her
she was not good enough for anything she wanted to do.
“Ah right, do you like just chill and text each other on
them then?” Jack continued to mess with her.
He knew he had been just as bad when he was younger but it
wasn’t until now that he realised how humorous this was to an adult.
“Not when we’re together. Oh my God, dad, you have so much
to learn!”
As Ellie then gave her parents one last wave goodbye, Jess
turned to Jack with a teasing grin over her face before she began to laugh.
“Yeah dad, you have so much to learn!” She mimicked her
daughter, finding it hilarious that it was reaching that point where the older
kids in their home were not going to be idolising them the same way they used
to.
Both parents would still be clinging onto their younger
one’s innocence but it wouldn’t be long until they grew up and flew from the
nest a little bit.
“33 years life experience is definitely nothing in
comparison to a teenager's smart mind.” Jack joked, knowing that it could feel
like you knew everything at that age and had everything figured out.
At the age of 33 him and Jess were still taking each day as
it came and tackling new challenges they met. They still had a lot of knowledge
to gain and luckily they had one another to capture that with.
Not only had they learned a lot by having children so young, they had also gained a lot of knowledge over this whole adoption
process with Kian too.
“You’re just outdated now baby.” Jess ran her hands up the
side of Jack’s neck as he looked down at her with a challenging grin.
“Nah, you know I’m still cool.”
Shaking her head, Jess urged Jack’s face down so her lips
could gently brush over his.
“You were never cool. Nothing has changed.”
As Jack was about to continue to protest, Jess reacted by
pressing her lips to his. As his hands then scaled down the length of her back, they squeezed her bum before he pulled away.
“I was. That was why you couldn’t stay away from me.” He
responded and caused a wash of memories to consume them both. “You could have
been out with that gang but you were spending nights with me.”
“Not true.” Jess shook her head in refusal but they both
knew it was definitely true.
There was a period of time where she continued to make up
excuse after excuse just so she could spend her nights with Jack rather than
doing business. Although it had been a serious deviant move at the time,
looking back now it was slightly amusing.
“It’s so true.” Jack mumbled as his lips then pressed to
hers once again however, before they could fully get lost in the moment,
footsteps were heard followed by the voices of their children.
“Yuck! That’s gross!” Harvey yelled causing both Jess and
Jack to pull apart.
“Yuck!” Theo copied as he lifted his hands to cover his
eyes.
“Why is it yuck?” Jess grinned as she reached out to scoop both boys towards her. Then cuddling them close she began kissing them repetitively on every
inch of their faces.
As they began to playfully squirm, Jack joined in too before
sweeping each boy off their feet and landing them onto the bed.
The laughter and excitement that followed them shortly after
was such a beautiful sight as both boys awaited Kian’s arrival. They could not
wait to have another brother in the house living with them and although it was
going to cause chaos for Jess and Jack, they knew it would be a lot of fun too.
