So my previous post was finally showing exactly who will be returning from Vegas and back to Brighton. Now here are a few hints of what may or may not be linked to their return.
Jay Gibson's death.
We know that Jay dies when he is aged 34. He is currently 29 and that means in 5 years he will be a goner for good. Whatever causes his death is likely to occur in Brighton and that could be why it has been decided that now is the perfect time in the story to bring him back there.
Family Reunions?
We recently found out that Rusty is the father or both Jazmine and Jess and we also know that Beth is also the daughter of Jasmine. Therefore, could the three of them returning to Brighton be due to the whole Rusty situation? The secret that Rusty was alive was purposely kept from Jess so maybe now she knows it's going to cause some trouble and tension between the family?
I'm in love with my half sister's ex husband.
We recently found out that Abbie is in fact Juliet's half sister. She had been desperately spending the years trying to find a way to get closer to her and be a part of the family Juliet had created for herself. In the process of this she ended up dating and falling in love with Matt, who is Juliet's ex husband. Could them returning to Brighton for good stir up some trouble? Maybe the pair have some news which can change the game completely and add even more complication to the mix.
Coming back to deal with unfinished business.
Kye and Sophie dated for a while in the past and his personality change from a sweet guy to cruel and controlling man was hard hitting for Sophie. He managed to change her from the independent woman she was into someone he could handle like a puppet.
Sophie has now got back on track and is killing it in her career and also finally has a family she adores. Is Kye being back going to cause some issues in their near perfect life? Will he try and get back to Sophie and deal with the unfinished business on his part. She ended things with him so abruptly, finally standing up for herself and causing him to leave. However, now she has more to lose, with a daughter and boyfriend she adores, will it make it more difficult for her to deal with the threats safely so no one gets hurt?
Things are too good to be true.
Jack and Jess have been through so much but finally seem like they have reached a good place. Maybe this 'good place' is just too good to be true and Jay returning is surely going to cause some issues? We know how much Jack despises Jay and how the feelings are mutual towards Jack from Jay. We also know how much fear Jack has around Jess being involved in the gang and is probably going to have constant nerves that them being back will pull her back in.
Alongside that, there could be a lot of trouble caused between Jack and Jay due to past events - such as Jay ruining Jack's garage. Jack is currently away in Cambridge, finally getting to expand the business after he has worked so hard. This could be a hint at the fact that it could all come falling down and could very likely be due to the gang.
