The Sophie - Juliet struggles and what Aaron, Andrew and the gym have to do with it!
1. Sophie and Aaron recently got engaged.
This is such a huge step in their relationship and changes a lot for them. They have managed to work past their differences and are stronger than ever. The love they have for each other is undeniable and of course that means they want to be with each other as much as possible.
That includes moving in together and just generally getting to spend days and nights together without feeling guilty.
The fact that Sophie is responsible for Juliet though does confuse this a little. It's like she has a child of her own and is having to consider Juliet in every one of her decisions.
As much as Aaron has always been fine with this, it's going to cause some strain at some point.
There is likely to be times when Sophie can't see Aaron because she doesn't want to leave Juliet alone. There will be huge decisions like moving in together that won't be able to happen because it may not be something Juliet will be comfortable tagging along with.
Therefore, I think as much as Sophie tries to keep a balance, it's probably not going to work out so easily.
2. Juliet could easily get lonely.
Juliet doesn't have parents to turn to or any other family but Sophie. She may soon start to feel pushed out - even if Sophie doesn't mean to do that at all! She may just feel like her sister is starting a family with her boyfriend, so where does she come into this?
Obviously she'll always have Sophie and she gets on with Aaron really well but there is usually someone else to turn to. Families are usually bigger and she'd have parents, aunts or grandparents to go to as well however, Juliet only has Sophie.
Is Sophie starts to create a new life with Aaron, that's going to be tough on Juliet to process and come to terms with the fact she does truly have to share her sister and it's not always just them two anymore.
3. Finding out the truth about Andrew has been difficult on both girls.
Both Sophie and Juliet are struggling with finding out the full truth about their brother and of course, blame the fighting world for his death. This is going to be a draining situation for both Juliet and Sophie and they will need to be there for each other.
However, Sophie will feel great pressure to be there for Juliet and make sure she is okay, while also feeling as though she needs some support herself. She will turn to Aaron for this but it's not so easy because he is a fighter still training in the gym that caused her brother problems.
I don't think Aaron will quit the gym - maybe he'll leave Reck but I think he'll remain at that gym and that could cause further problems.
While Sophie may accept that because she knows it makes him happy, I don't know if it will be so easy for Juliet to accept, understandably.
4. Juliet's friendship with Matt could fuel this even more?
The fact that Juliet is speaking to Matt could suggest that she is going to end up meeting Kieran. If this happens, I can't imagine Kieran will have anything good to say about the gym and this may fuel Juliet's anger for it even more.
5. Aaron hasn't been training!
Since his engagement with Sophie, Aaron hasn't been to one training sessions. He has been avoiding them, especially after finding out the news about Andrew.
That is obviously not going to go down well with Reck and could have negative consequences on Sophie and Aaron's relationship (fingers crossed they live happily ever after lol). If this happens, that's not going to put Sophie in a good place which will cause negative impacts on Juliet.
Sophie seems to really need Aaron and without him, things may spiral out of control for her emotionally and she can't afford to let that happen when she has a sister to look out for.
