What's next for the characters?!

This post is going to be a selection of true and false things that are coming up for the characters. I am not going to say which are true and which are false... that will be down to you to make up your own minds.

1. Will Sophie and Aaron officially get together or will Sophie just want to enjoy being single?

2. Will Jack and Jess get back together or did too much go wrong for it to work?

3. Will Juliet and Dylan end up moving in together or will it scare him off?

4. Will Elliot react badly to what happened and confront Aaron or will he remain calm?

5. Will Sophie and Aaron move out of Brighton to get away from the drama?

6. Will Jess start dating someone?

7. Did Jess meet someone at the club that night?

8. Will Juliet have more children or is two boys all she will have?

9. Is Rusty suspicious or is it all just a misunderstanding?

10. Will Sophie have children? If she does, who will they be with? Elliot? Aaron or someone else?

All about Aaron Harris

Aaron Harris.

So he's very quickly sneaked himself into being a main character so I thought it would be good to do a post about him.

I want to share my opinions and also tell you a bit about the Aaron Harris!

First up, he's 27 years old which means he would have been the year above Jack in school.

He has a brother in Brighton who is older than him and his parents no longer live there.

He clearly loves going out a lot with his work mates and also Sophie's group of friends.

He's a huge flirt - which is obvious, and doesn't have a shortage of girls that he has spent his nights with.

He has had no interest in settling down - loving the freedom of the single life.

Marriage/children etc... is not anything he is even considering unlike Jack (who is his bestfriend and has known for many years).

However, he has had semi-serious girlfriends in the past - one of which he did live with for a year.

Even though he is the way he is, he's still a good guy. He's genuinely nice and caring and has a lot of respect for everyone.

What I think of Aaron:

I know he's currently one of lucie's favourite characters and I may have begun to agree with her.

I love his personality. The way that even though he is a bit boisterous and loves being with the lads, he is also a genuinely nice guy. He has respect for girls and doesn't just use them.

I also love his friendship with Sophie (or whatever is going on there) and more importantly his friendship with Jack!

My favourite scene between them two was definitely when they were in the supermarket buying nappies! Haha

There is so much more to come on him so keep an eye out on everything he does. His story is only just getting started!

New Year, New Book, New Beginnings and THE LAST of the series!

If you've been on twitter or wattpad you will have seen that there has been some changes made to Lucie's wattpad account.

1. Her username has been changed.
2. Her bio has been changed.

BUT

3. There has been a new book added - Bad Desire: New Beginnings.

This is going to be the LAST book of this particular series!

If you bring up the story on Wattpad, you will notice that there are already 67 chapters - this is because a lot of chapters have been moved from Bad Desire into this book and removed from Bad Desire.

This is because Lucie felt like that was a good place to bring Bad Desire to an end and start the New Beginnings.

There will be a lot of editing going on for a while on Bad Desire so if you ever go back and read things, just be aware that it's happening.

ALSO with the new book, Lucie is going to make her official posting day a Friday. This does not mean that you will definitely get an update every Friday but it does mean that there will be at least one update every week.

Yes that sounds confusing but I will explain...

Friday is the official posting day - so if you don't see a new chapter all week you know for a fact that Lucie will be posting that Friday (depending on circumstance obviously).

However, you may also see a chapter or two appear sometime during the week - if this happens then that does not mean you will definitely get a chapter Friday too - as she would have already posted once/twice that week.

The aim of the Friday posting schedule is to ensure there is more than one chapter every week - but if she isn't able to do this - that there is at least one every week.

As time goes on this might change but for now that's how it stands.

If it still sounds confusing, don't worry - this is more to help Lucie than anything else. Just know that there will be weekly updates with hopefully a few chapters!

Make sure you add the new book into your library/reading list on wattpad so you get an update when she has posted :)

So much will be happening in this last book before it ends to ALL characters so it's going to be good! :D

Jess & Jack!!!

So in chapter 184 we got the scene where Jack was presented with his all new and improved garage - organised by Jess herself.

This scene was so cute, seeing how genuinely surprised and appreciative he was, not only of the fact that his employee's had helped out but because it had been Jess' idea.

I think that it is so sweet that even though they are not together anymore, that they still care for one another.

I still ship them so hard though, how can you not? They have four children together and they have been my favourite couple since the beginning.

I secretly hope they get back together but I don't know if they will...

I think if they ever did, it would be all down to Jack realising what went wrong last time. He would need to take a step away from his work mind and maybe start dealing with things a bit better.

There is no doubt that he loves and cares about his family but maybe if he dealt with his time a bit better, juggling both work and family life different it could work. If he stopped trying to do everything himself, it could spare up some time.

Whatever happens, I will still only ever be supportive of Jess and Jack together and not them with anyone else, sorry not sorry!

The Lloyd Family

In one of the previous chapters we got a bit of an insight into the Lloyd family - something we haven't had in a while.

It was funny to have Alissa (Juliet and Elliot's mum) back with her opinionated mouth and it never fails to make me laugh.

We always knew her as being quite judgmental on Juliet but she seems to have moved that onto Elliot, who she previously saw as being unable to do any wrong.

Now that Juliet had Dylan it seems like she approves. But with Sophie being in a really weird way at the moment, his mum was more concerned on why she wasn't at the dinner.

Something else I picked up from that chapter is that there was no mention of Juliet's biological dad - there was no mention of it in conversation.

I am curious to find out if it's just because it wasn't being discussed that night OR if it was because Juliet doesn't speak about it with her parents.

Maybe she's worried it will hurt their feelings that she wants to find out more about it. Or maybe she'd just rather keep it to herself.

Overall, the Lloyd family is one that always has me curious. I think it's sweet that they always do the traditional family dinners, showing they are pretty close. However, at the same time you can also notice a bit of distance between them. There is always a bit of tension and I wonder if that's because of Alissa's need to have an opinion on everything or if there is something else there that we are unaware about.

IMPORTANT themes in Bad Desire to look out for and respect!

SO HELLO, I was having a long chat with Lucie the other day and we were talking about Bad Desire but also loads of other things and it lead me to writing this. (I hope she doesn't mind, so hi Lucie if you are reading this haha).
....

Getting ideas to write a story come from all sorts of different places and reasons why people write what they do, also come for different reasons.

One theme that Lucie has again and again brought into Bad Desire is equality. She is a strong believer in women and men being seen as equal and neither sex being viewed as more capable than the other. Her views on sexism aren't something she openly talks about but does subtly incorporate them into chapters in the story to spread the message and discuss it.

Sophie Carter is the character she mostly uses for this and you will have seen this in previous chapters and will continue to see it in future chapters too.

Not everyone has strong beliefs on sexism and this post isn't to make you feel like you have to, but it's to hopefully make you aware of the messages that do come across in some of the chapters.

While she uses Sophie to portray that road to equality she also expresses how even though she loves the ideas of girls being the breadwinner of a family and being treated with that same respect, she also doesn't try to make it seem like every girl has to be this way.

Not every girl wants to be the one out earning the most money or doing things that were traditionally looked at as being a 'man's only' job or characteristic and she takes that into account.

A few of the other female characters are in a sense, living the more traditional lifestyle and it shows that thats okay too. Everyone has different tastes and chooses to live different ways, so Lucie ensures that she covers both sides and creates completely different personalities for each of the different characters.

The aim of this post was to just make people aware of the important themes Lucie brings into the story, they are not always so obvious but they are there. Sexism isn't the only one she is passionate about, there are many others and she tries to incorporate these into the story too without being too forceful. From family issues, to divorce to relationship problems and more...

Just keep a wise look out for them. Reading some of them has made me more sensitive to things that I may not have experienced or thought about before.

My Theories on the new Sophie Storyline!!!!!

What is Sophie really feeling?

There are a few questions that have been raised in my mind since this new Sophie storyline began.

First off, we haven't really heard too much about her or Elliot in a while so when I found out they were going to be creeping up again... I knew it would be eventful!

here are a few things I picked up from the past few chapters and my theories about what could be going on:

I don't know if anyone else paid much attention to this point but Sophie told Aaron about her job before Elliot. It wasn't mentioned in that way but obviously by how it was written it is obvious she did.

That is a pretty big deal don't you think?

I know it was mentioned that she was scared because of Elliot's reaction... but was it just that? Or did she just prefer to tell Aaron first? Maybe he was involved in her going for the job... maybe he persuaded her to do it and not worry.

Did Aaron persuade Sophie to take the job?

Obviously we know that Aaron likes Sophie but maybe she has some feelings for him too? The reason I think this is because 1. she went out with him - leaving her friends at the dinner to go to some bars with him alone.
2. She went back to his place. Yes, she was really drunk and probably wasn't fully aware of what she was doing, but she still went there.
3. In the most recent chapter when Elliot touches her leg, she seems really uncomfortable. Also at the mention of her not being able to hug him and make everything better. Maybe it doesn't feel the same anymore because she likes Aaron instead?

Maybe Sophie has feelings for Aaron too? Maybe it's not just a one sided thing.
(lets just pretend this is Aaron (aka Nick) in this photo for the purpose of this post haha.)

OR I have been looking at this in a different way.

We all know Sophie is an extremely overly friendly person and I think sometimes that can come off as flirting. Maybe that is what's happening with Aaron? She doesn't actually like him, she's just being her usual self and it's being judged wrongly?

She seems really concerned about Elliot's opinion about her new job and maybe that's just because she is truly thinking about him.

She loves him and is scared that she will lose him if it makes him upset - something she doesn't want to happen. So therefore she was taking her mind off of things by going out with friends etc... and it has come across to many readers that it's due to her and Aaron having a thing... but actually she just doesn't want to lose her marriage?

She loves him and is scared to lose him?

OR

Maybe she truly has out grown the whole Sophie and Elliot thing. Maybe it has nothing to do with Aaron at all. Maybe she has just out grown her relationship with Elliot.

They have been on and off for so long and they are two completely different people.

Possibly it was just a teenage thing that they got so caught up in and maybe due to the fact that he is also her bestfriend, she is finding it hard to be honest... and that's why she felt uncomfortable when he touched her leg etc... She doesn't see him in that way? Only friendship now and it made her feel weird.

Just a teenage phase?

They are just my theories... you might have some different ones. Let me know if you do :)
